Working collaboratively with these authors and other editors, Amy over the last three years has helped produce in-depth coverage of the 2024 presidential election and the wars in Gaza and Ukraine. And she has reported on-the-ground about persistent rural poverty in West Virginia, community efforts to remediate food deserts in Oklahoma and the impact of Border Patrol checkpoints on residents of Arizona.
As an investigative reporting fellow at the Columbia Journalism School, Amy’s reporting on Exxon Mobil’s early knowledge of climate change was published in the Los Angeles Times, and also received coverage in the New York Review of Books. The story about Amy and other journalists behind this investigative series is currently being adapted into a Hollywood film.
